In 2021, Dr Hande Güzel invited me to contribute to the Think Tank podcast series of the CCIR – Cambridge Centre for International Research about Wellbeing in Higher Education.

My contribution was about ableism in higher education, the experience of disabled staff and students in higher education and what can be done to improve the situation for disabled people in academia. In my conversation with Dr Güzel we referred to my two books Ableism in Academia: Theorising Experiences of Disabilities and Chronic Illnesses in Higher Education and Lived Experiences of Ableism in Academia: Strategies for Inclusion in Higher Education.
