In the autumn term of 2020, after my first edited book on Ableism in Academia was published, there were a number of events to support the book launch. One such event was organised by the Technische Universität Wien in conjunction with Exceptional Norms, where I was asked to talk about experiences of being disabled and/or chronically ill in higher education.
